1. Overview and Conditions
(1) The foundation was established for contributing to the development of society by providing scholarship programs for students studying at Keio university.
(2)The scholarships provided by the foundation are not subject to repayment. Additionally, recipients of the scholarships are not obligated to enter into employment with any specific company or fulfill any other related obligations.
(3) It is also possible to receive this scholarship in conjunction with scholarships from other organizations.
(4)This scholarship program is limited to students who hold the nationality of Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, or Singapore.
(5)Fourth-year undergraduate students, second-year graduate students and PhD students are not eligible to apply for this scholarship program.
(6)Students enrolled in the School of Medicine(6-year program) or the Department of Pharmacy(6-year program) can apply for this scholarship program.
However, Sixth-year students cannot apply for this scholarship program.
(7)Applicants must have “Student” visa. If you are a student of foreign nationality whose residence status is “Permanent resident,” “Long-term resident” or “Spouse or child of Japanese national (permanent resident),” you are not eligible to apply for this scholarship program.

3. Qualification requirement
( All of the following conditions must be met.)
(1)Students enrolled in Keio university(Undergraduate and Graduate). However, fourth-year undergraduate student and second-year graduate student can not apply this scholarship.
(2)Students with high aspirations, good character, academic excellence, and the potential to contribute to society as responsible citizens in the future.
(3)Applicants must submit academic transcript.

(2)Submission Deadline
Please send your documents to application@iif.or.jp by September 30, 2025. Please convert your files to PDF and compress files into a folder.
Please note that application documents will not be returned.
5. Selection Process
(1)A decision will be made after comprehensive consideration based on document screening and other factors.
(2)The notification of the scholarship results will be sent to the applicants via eMail by October 10, 2025.
6. Obligations of Scholarship Recipients
(1) Scholarship recipients must submit their academic transcripts and certificate of enrollment to the foundation office within one month after the end of each academic year. Upon graduation, scholarship recipients must submit the graduation certificate in place of the certificate of enrollment.
(2) Scholarship recipients are required to report any occurrences of leave of absence, reinstatement, transfer, repeating a year, withdrawal, suspension (or other disciplinary actions), changes in name or address.
(3) In cases of poor academic performance, misconduct, or other situations stipulated in the foundation’s scholarship regulations, the scholarship may be suspended or terminated for the following academic year(s).
(4)Scholarship recipients are required to submit the documents(e.g. letter of commitment) specified by the foundation by the deadline, even after the scholarship has been awarded.
7. Others
(1)For those selected as scholarship recipients, the scholarship payments will begin in October 2025. Specifically, the payment for 7 months (April to October 2025) will be made in October 2025, and the payment for three months (November 2025 to January 2026) will be made in January 2026. After that, payments will be made every three months, covering three months at a time.
(2)Application documents will not be returned.
(3)Matters not specified in the application guidelines will be governed by the foundation’s scholarship payment regulations.
8. About Privacy Policy
(1)The personal information provided will be appropriately managed in accordance with our foundation’s ‘Basic Policy on the Protection of Personal Information’.
(2)The personal information provided will be used by our foundation solely within the necessary scope to disburse scholarships, provide guidance and advice to scholarship recipients, and achieve other objectives of the foundation.
